A small team, a narrow focus.
Nordwave was founded in 2019 by three engineers who kept running into the same problem: cloud platforms were either too abstract or too expensive for steady, predictable workloads. We built the opposite — a small catalogue, honest pricing and direct access to the people who operate it.

Founded in Amsterdam. First rack in a partner facility in the west of the city.
2021
Second region in Frankfurt. Private link between the two sites.
2026
Around 140 customers, most of them small analytics and engineering teams.
How we work
We do not resell other people's cloud. Hardware is ours, network is ours, and so is the on-call rotation. That is why we can keep the catalogue short and the answers direct.
